Olive Oil As Makeup Remover?

Everybody loves makeups but when it comes to removing it, I personally know a lot a lot of girls that do not remove their makeups properly and some just wash it off and sleep with it overnight.

Girls, no, no, no. Putting on cosmetics is enough to spoil your skin in a way, and by not removing it properly, you can say bye bye to your flawless skin. Now, what do you use to remove your makeups? Expensive makeup removers? Please. Trust me, expensive makeup removers are meh. Not all works well. I do makeups and I never bought any makeup removers.

All I need is a pack of wet tissue. Yeah, any wet tissues will do. Exactly, a pack of wet tissue and a bottle of olive oil.

AmberFabulous' personal favorite olive oil is Ginvera olive oil.
I've been using it for years and still using. ;)

#HowTo; How To Style Your Hair On A Bad Hair Day

Having a bad hair day but going out for a date with your new hot date?
Panic not.
You could still look chic and classy with the sock bun hairdo!

Follow the instructions below!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1 sock
A pair of scissors
Bobby pins
Any sock made from a thinner fabric will work. Opt for a brown or taupe shade (something that resembles your hair color, although it doesn’t have to be an exact match) as a white or a bright-colored sock might peek through your strands and give away your bun’s secret.

Step 1
CREATE PONYTAIL AND SOCK DOUGHNUT
Cut off the toe area of the sock and roll fabric down into a doughnut. Pull hair back into a high ponytail and secure with elastic at the crown.

Step 2
TUCK ENDS AROUND AND UNDER SOCK
Place the sock doughnut at the very end of the ponytail and pull strands through the hole in the center. Starting in the front, smooth your hair over the doughnut, tucking the ends underneath. Try to disperse hair evenly around the doughnut, but don't worry about completely covering it. When you begin to roll, your hair will naturally spread out and you can tuck as you go.

Step 3
ROLL SOCK DOWN TO BASE
Slowly roll the sock (along with your hair) down the ponytail until you reach the base. You should use the same motion you used to roll up the sock in the first step—flip the bottom side of the doughnut upward from the inside out with both hands. As you roll, tuck loose strands underneath the doughnut. When you reach the base, fill in gaps in the bun’s structure by gently spreading hair out.

Step 4
SECURE HAIR WITH BOBBY PINS
Tidy up loose ends and strands by pinning them around the base. To make the bun fuller, gently tug and tease strands from the center portion of the bun outward.

PS: Try this out and let me know if you like it!

Read My Lips #HowTo; How To Choose The Right Shades For Your Lips

Are you using the right shades of lipstick or lip gloss? A lot, a lot of girls and ladies out there do not realize NOT ALL shades of lipsticks blends well with your natural lip colour and skin tone. I've seen a few girls, they got very pale looking skin tone and they had purple-ish lipstick. No, no, no, you don't want to look like a sick vampire.

Bobbi Brown says: "If I had to teach someone just one thing about lip colour it would be this: Find a lipstick that looks good on your face when you are wearing absolutely no make-ups."

Everyone's got them. Hidden away in make up bags and bathroom cupboards across the country are lipsticks that seemed to be just what we were looking for – the everyday nude, a great red, a vibrant summery pink – and they were, for a day or a week until we noticed they weren't exactly right, that they didn't really suit us. Is there a way to avoid making expensive mistakes with lipsticks?

Choosing a colour
Makeup artist Bobbi Brown's tip for choosing a lipstick that will work for you is to look for a colour that is like your own natural colour, but to take it up a notch. So if your lips are pale, your lipstick colour could be beige, sandy or pale pink. A medium lip tone needs browns and roses, while dark lips can wear raisin. If you are very dark and have purple or dark brown lips, go for chocolate and blackberry colours. For evening, take your daytime colour to a richer intensity. If you chose a berry lip gloss during the day for example, a satiny burgundy would look more dramatic at night.

Beware your skin tone
Another factor that can make your lipstick look right or all wrong is your skin tone. It jars to see an English Rose wearing orangey-brown lipstick, just as a mauvey pink kills olive skin.
Everyone's skin tone (rather than their skin colour) tends to have a warmth or coolness to it. Warm skin will have yellow undertones and maybe some orangey red. Cool skin has red undertones, tending to the pink.
Typically someone very fair or with high colouring is a cool skin tone, though you can have a medium skin and be cool. Equally, very black skin with a blueish undertone is cool. Likewise fair skin can be warm as well as the more obviously warm olive, Asian and lighter black skins.

Determine your tone type
If you're not sure whether you are predominantly warm or cool, try these tips:
1. Which suits you better, gold or silver jewellery? Whichever lights up your complexion best reveals whether you have warm or cool skin tones. Gold looks great on warm skin, while silver enhances cool skin.
2. According to makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, the inside of your arm can be revealing. If the skin is pale and your veins look bright blue, you're a cool skin tone. In warmer skin veins are less obvious.
3. Alternatively you could just go straight to a Prescriptives counter for a free Colorprint. (0870 0342566), a service that will identify your ideal makeup colour family by determining your skin's undertones.

What to do next
Once you've discovered your skin tone, apply that to lipstick. Broadly speaking, warmer shades of lipstick or those with yellow and orange undertones will suit a warm skin tone – think cappuccino, caramel, certain browns with hints of gold and bronze. For cool skin, good choices will be in the bluey pink spectrum, light pinky reds and blue-toned reds and classic beige with pink undertones.

Test before you buy
When testing a new lipstick, try it on your lips if you can to see its true colour and how it looks on your skin (use a cotton bud). Alternatively try it on the pads of your fingertips rather than the side of your hand, as they are a little closer to lip colour. This will also show you the texture of the lipstick – whether it's very sheer, totally matte, shimmery and so on. As a general rule, a matte finish tends to make lips look thinner and it can be ageing, while shimmery shades and glosses make lips look fuller.

Good luck buying your right lipsticks!

Your Hair Won't Grow?

Tired of buying expensive hair products to make your hair looks better?
Every girl wants shinning and healthy hair.

AmberFabulous has ways for you to have healthier hair without burning a hole in your pocket.

So, has anyone heard of using onion to combat hair growth. Well, its true. And, I can assert this because I have tried it on myself. Onion is rich in sulfur which is one of the essential nutrients in promoting hair growth. So, if you are facing a lot of hair fall problems or have developed any bald patches on your head, try onion. It stimulates hair growth. It is also beneficial for people who want to increase the length of their hair. But, putting onion on a very healthy hair would really not show much difference. Onion is also useful for treating dandruff and other scalp infections like dry scalp or itchy scalp. For any major infections, you should definitely consult a doctor. Onion is not a medication.

The easiest way to do is to collect the outer peels of the onion which are to be discarded (while cutting the vegetables) and blend them. Put them in a sieve cloth and extract the liquid. Apply the liquid on your scalp. You can also apply the blended onion paste directly too. The smell would be stinking so you have to wash your hair after that. Keep it on for half- hour or as long as you can and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Do this as many times as you can in a week and you will see results within a month or two. You have to be consistent with the treatment. You can also add fenugreek paste to condition your hair simultaneously. Try to be innovative. Add eggs, honey, fruits, oils or anything else you are in a mood for.

Another advantage of applying onion on your hair is it will give you hair a nice coppery shade. It makes your hair look glossy. But, if you want to maintain the natural color of your hair, mix the onion blend with adequate amount of mustard oil. The oil will prevent the color lightening caused by onions. And, you can increase your daily consumption of onions for a beautiful hair.

Nude

OMG OMG OMG.
Yes, OMG. It's Riri, Rihanna.
She now has her very own fragrance too.

But, wait, I personally think if she had black hair in this picture, would be so much better.
Nevertheless, she looks very lively here.
