It didn't take long for the world to fall in love with Kim Kardashian's new kitten, Mercy.
"Isn't she so cute?!" Kardashian told us at her Midori Makeover event in Santa Monica.
"I really don't know what I'm going to do, Mason is so obsessed with her," the E! star said. "He wakes me up every morning banging on my door, 'Mercy! Mercy!' He wakes up Mercy, and I'm like, 'She's sleeping.' He's so obsessed with her, it's really cute."

Kardashian proved Mason's love of Mercy just the other day when she posted a photo on Instagram of Kourtney Kardashian's little one cuddling with the furry white animal.
"I've always wanted a white Persian cat for so long," the 31-year-old dished. "For years."
Mercy, whom Kardashian got over a week ago, got her name from the title of a Kanye West song, but that wasn't always the idea. Kim revealed she almost named the kitten after—wait for it—her publicist!

"I was gonna name her Pearl because Pearl [Servat] is Persian and so is my cat," she explained.
So what's next for mini Mercy? Kardashian said, "I think I'm going to start my own Twitter account for Mercy."
We imagine we'll be seeing a lot of Mercy when the new season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami hits TV in January 2013.
